Yaezakura (Cherry blossoms)

>> Sunday, May 2, 2010

This type of cherry blossoms are a surprise to me...most of the sakura are gone but this is still in full bloom. This is the same type a friend over at ViennaDaily features often and we had been wondering why this type has so much petals compared to the others.

See some fruits here.

They certainly are the same ones we have! Beautiful, whichever part of the world!

These cherry blossoms are beautiful. There are many petals on the flower, can it be the double petal variety?

Beautiful, Anna! Thanks for sharing your cherry blossom! I am always glad to see my blossoming trees every spring. They cheer me up after the long grey winter. Have a wonderful springtime!

Lindas cerejeiras, maravilhosas flores!

Beautiful images of the cherry blossoms! I enjoyed them so much when I was in Japan in early April 2008! What a delightful sight they are!

The cherry blossom looks lovely.

PS It would be great if you could date rather than just time your posts.
